Wire Clips
Description
Wire clips are mechanical fastening devices used to secure the loose end of a wire rope loop back to the main body, forming a tight and reliable eye termination. Typically consisting of a U-bolt, saddle, and nuts, wire clips are quick to install and ideal for field applications where swaging is not possible. Available in malleable, forged, or stainless steel versions, wire clips provide a strong, adjustable connection for temporary or semi-permanent use in rigging and cable assemblies.
Most Common Applications
- Lifting & Rigging: Used to create eye terminations and secure wire rope ends in non-critical lifting applications.
- Marine & Offshore: Applied in boat rigging, lifeline setups, and securing marine hardware.
- Construction & Infrastructure: Used in temporary guy lines, scaffolding supports, and bracing systems.
- Transport & Logistics: Secures cables and ropes in cargo handling, tie-downs, and load containment.
- Agriculture & Fencing: Common in fence installations, vineyard trellising, and agricultural cable systems.
Features
- Available in galvanized, forged, and stainless steel for different strength and corrosion resistance needs
- Easy to install and adjust using standard hand tools
- Designed for use with matching wire rope diameters
